Pola Self-Sustainable • Funding hanya diperlukan diawal. • Selanjutnya pola self-sustainable: • Free akses ke database metadata. • Akses ke full-teks PDF harus membayar meski murah (20%-40% untuk royalti author) • Penjualan CD-ROM database metadata. • Knowledgebase sebagai modal barter dengan partner internasional.

Isu Plagiatisme • Dengan disseminasi yang sangat luas (online internet atau offline CD-ROM), • Setiap orang akan dengan mudah mengetahui hasil / laporan riset, • Shg setiap plagiat akan mudah dilacak, • Shg keinginan berbuat plagiat semakin kecil. Note: plagiat bukan alasan untuk tidak mempublikasikan hasil riset secara online.

GNU-Lib, Free-Software Library Automation • Free-Software: • Berarti “freedom”, “bebas”, “liberty”. • Bukan “gratis”, “harga 0”. • Library Automation: • Workflow aktifitas perpustakaan dengan bantuan TI. • Pencarian, peminjaman, pengembalian, denda, pemesanan, perpanjangan, pengadaan buku, keanggotaan, dll. • GNU-Lib: • Project pembuatan Free-Software Library Automation • Oleh KMRG ITB Tahun ini
