With offices in Sydney and London, the business offers a pragmatic value investment approach across long-short and long only global equities strategies with circa US$3.5bn in assets under management. The fund is absolute return and when considering investment opportunities, focuses on cyclical, structural and macro factors alongside qualitative and quantitative analysis. This manager is considered Broker Information one of the most exciting new funds to emerge locally. Due to continued growth, we are seeking to appoint an Investment Specialist to manage the quality and delivery of all public communications and internal/external reporting initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Quant / Macro, this individual will own all data centric client and internal performance reporting, including exposure and attribution analysis. The individual will be responsible for the preparation and review of any public communication (fund reports, presentations, blogs and thought pieces), executing such material with exceptional attention to detail. The role will assist the outsourced business development team with all client related queries with specific focus on RFPs and data requests and be a central point of contact. Ideal candidates will bring experience in performance and attribution measurement gained via time spent in a global asset manager, custodian or similar data business. Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint are essential as is the ability to work with data being paramount. Candidates who are experienced with data analysis tools such as R or Power BI will be held in high regard. We are also very focused on sourcing someone who has an interest and understanding in global financial markets.
