  3. Evening Activities A programme of evening activities will keep the children active and occupied after dinner, although at a more sedate pace. These include… • Grounds map quiz • Night or beach walk • Scavenger hunt • Skern Lodge olympics • Swimming • Pool olympics • Team games competition • Disco/Karaoke • Campfire • Team quiz • Indoor group work • Free evening - TV, video, etc • Crabbing • Overnight bivi in Skern grounds

  4. Safety • Safety is obviously of prime consideration. • All activities are not run by teachers, but by highly trained and qualified centre staff. • Every activity your child participates in at Skern Lodge has a detailed risk assessment completed and considered. • All centre staff (including kitchen and administrative staff too) are first aid trained. • Vehicle and facility inspections are regular and thorough. • Staff and children’s dormitories are superbly clean and spacious, with sufficient toilet and showering facilities for all rooms. • Skern Lodge operates an insurance policy, covering participants on all activities.
