Company Profile • Founded in 1894 in Gent, Belgium by Leopold BALLIU • From the early 1900’s specialist in engineering with the development of a specialized mechanical process replacing the manual intensive preparation of rabbit skins for the hat and fur industry • In begin of the 1970’s: development of 1st LASER equipped machines for the industry • From the 80’s more than 1.000 systems has been successfully installed: • From easy stand alone systems through complete turnkey production lines

Company Profile • In 2008 BALLIU MTC bought a ground of 10.000 m² next door for expansion in production • Today, BALLIU MTC is a sound, export-oriented (more than 90%; mainly Western & Eastern Europe) company with a extensive sales- and service organization • About 80 employees • Turn over ~ 10.000.000,00 euro • Sole business = developing and manufacturing LASER-equipped machines for all kinds of applications
