Objective: To show how fossils can be used to provide information about past events.
Research: Fossil: The remains or evidence of a living thing. Relative dating: Figuring out the order in which events occur by comparing to other objects or events. No dates or ages.
Superposition: The new layer of sediment forms on top of already formed layers. Absolute dating: Actual age of things based on radioactive elements in the rock.
