Commensalism • Is when one organism benefits and the other is not harmed in any way. So think of it as one thumbs up and one thumb to the side
Parasitism • Parasitism is when some type of parasite goes up to an organism and starts feeding off them. For this one one benefits and the other is harmed. Or one thumb up and one thumb down
Adaptation • Is when an organism gets used to a new surrounding.
Camouflage • Is when an organism blends in with its surroundings to hide from predators or to catch its prey
Hibernation • Is when an organism sleeps for long periods of time. They will eat more right before winter and get fat. And as they hibernate their body will feed off the fat.
Migration • Is when an organism travels from one place to the next for food and/or better weather conditions.
Courtship • Is when an organism looks for a mate or a partner to reproduce with.
Dormancy • Is when plants go to sleep for long periods of time. Just like hibernation but only it is a plant
regeneration • Regeneration occurs when an organism has the power to grow back some of their body parts that have fell off or they dropped for survival reasons.
