  1. A short meeting to decide which data is suitable for public presentation Dean Leavy Dublinked

  2. What we hope to achieve • Create a suitable database which can be uploaded without displaying personal / private information • SSID data • Obtaining feedback is our main objective: • People’s reaction • Next step of the project

  3. Display of the Area covered in the Database

  4. Image Displaying the Route Taken

  5. Creating the Databases • A single Perl script was used to construct two separate databases. One of which contained the location and the BSSID signal strength. The second database contains information about the BSSID access points. • Another Perl script was also constructed to create a third database containing the location of open access BSSID signals.

  6. Sample of Database containing locations and Signal Strengths • Information about this database: • Just over 2 MBs in size • Contains 4795 scans

  7. Sample of Database containing BSSID Information • Information about this database: • Contains 15284 BSSID access points • 1.9 MBs in size

  8. Sample of Database containing location of open access BSSIDs BSSID="00:80:48:70:0d:01" 5320.5201N 00615.1398W BSSID="00:80:48:70:0d:01" 5320.5065N 00615.1351W BSSID="00:80:48:70:0d:01" 5320.4915N 00615.1280W BSSID="00:80:48:70:0d:01" 5320.4882N 00615.1289W BSSID="00:80:48:70:0d:01" 5320.4870N 00615.1289W BSSID="40:4a:03:ab:63:5e" 5320.4902N 00615.1318W BSSID="40:4a:03:ab:63:5e" 5320.4902N 00615.1318W BSSID="40:4a:03:ab:63:5e" 5320.4902N 00615.1318W BSSID="40:4a:03:ab:63:5e" 5320.4902N 00615.1318W BSSID="40:4a:03:ab:63:5e" 5320.4939N 00615.1391W BSSID="40:4a:03:ab:63:5e" 5320.4939N 00615.1391W BSSID="ce:5d:4e:ea:83:1c" 5320.4902N 00615.1318W BSSID="ce:5d:4e:ea:83:1c" 5320.4902N 00615.1318W BSSID="ce:5d:4e:ea:83:1c" 5320.4902N 00615.1318W BSSID="ce:5d:4e:ea:83:1c" 5320.4902N 00615.1318W BSSID="ce:5d:4e:ea:83:1c" 5320.4902N 00615.1318W
