Bloom’s Taxonomy A guide to consider when evaluating the cognitive demands of each lesson/activity. Revised in 2001 to reflect refined thinking in the field and to begin to connect with 21st Century skills. Revisions are significant: Can be used to describe the cognitive demand of learning. The change in the highest levels is critical when planning for instruction and assessing the level of the standards themselves. Consider the level of questioning and the academic use of vocabulary.
