  3. Push Pull Converter Diodes return the small currents due to demagnetization of primary leakage inductance (not the core). This is the purpose of all diodes which parallel the switches in the foregoing converters. iL : Constant + Vout - + Vin - The leakage return diode is integrated into many power switching devices.
