Logging in to the OSAT • Log in to TFANet (www.tfanet.org) • Click on the “Online Student Achievement Tracker (OSAT)” link under “Tools and Trackers” • A new window will open and you will be automatically logged into your OSAT tool You may have also received a welcome email from support@jumpro.pe with these details.
Can’t log in? Oh no! • If you cannot log in to TFANet, please email tfanet.support@teachforamerica.org • If you CAN log in to TFANet but you cannot access, the OSAT, please email support@jumpro.pe with the following information: • Your full name • Placement region • TFANet username (should be an email address) • We’ll get it sorted out for you as soon as possible! ***For the next activity, buddy up with a friend.
JumpRope Tutorials • The OSAT has built-in tutorials that are designed to get you started tracking as quickly as possible.
Your task for the next 30 minutes • Log into the OSAT • Complete the five training tutorials (or as many as you can in the time provided – you can always finish later) • Complete at least the first three items on the checklist • We’re tracking your progress!
How to get help in the OSAT IF YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT OR HOW TO TRACK: • Look for related tutorials or help documents • Reach out to your MTLD or geeky friend IF YOU HAVE A TECHNICAL PROBLEM USING THE OSAT: • Log into the OSAT and click the Support menu, and Contact us • JumpRope will respond within 1 buesiness day! You can always email support@jumpro.pe for help!
TFA Growth Trackers • JumpRope has built several special trackers into the OSAT that you can use to track: • DRA Level Growth • Dibbels Growth • 6+1 Writing Traits Growth • SRI Growth • If you are interested in using these trackers, click “TFA Trackers” in the Plan tab and follow the instructions on the screen!
Frequently Asked Questions • Does JumpRope work on an iPad? • Not yet – give us a few months • Can another (non-TFA) teacher at my school use JumpRope? • Sure! Email support@jumpro.pe and we’ll give you a free account code • Can my entire school use JumpRope? • Of course! Our school-wide product has tons of extra features, too. Just drop us a line.
Next Steps • Complete all five online tutorials • Enter your full class list of students • Create your first (real) standards and begin to enter scores as you assess your students • In a couple of months (once you have data), we’ll have another training that explains how to analyze and make decisions on your mastery data
