  2. 夏朝 Xia Dynasty • 夏朝（約公元前2070年-公元前1600年）中國第一個王朝。共470年。 • Xia Dynasty (about 2070 BC – 1600 BC) is the first dynasty of China, for 470 years.

  3. 夏朝的建立Establishment of Xia Dynasty • 大禹治水有功，得到了王位 。禹把王位傳給他的兒子啟，於是建立了夏朝。 • Yu controlled flood, so he got the throne. Yu passed the throne to his son Kai, and Xia Dynasty was established.

  4. 夏朝的滅亡Demise of the Xia Dynasty • 夏朝傳了四百多年，傳到夏桀，因暴虐無道，後來被商湯滅亡 。 • After over400 years, the throne of Xia Dynasty was passed to Jie. Because of his tyranny, Xia was later destroyed by Shang.

  5. 商朝Shang Dynasty • 商朝（約公元前1766年-公元前1111年）共656年，是中國歷史上第二個王朝。 • Shang Dynasty (about 1766BC – 1111BC) is the second dynasty of China, lasted 656 years.

  6. 甲骨文Oracle Bones • 十九世紀末考古學家在安陽市（殷）發現了大量刻有文字的龜甲獸骨片，叫甲骨文。這是我們今天看到最早的中國文字。 • In late 19th century, archaeologists found many tortoise shells and animal bones inscribed with text, call Oracle, in An-Yang. Oracle is the earliest Chinese characters even seen.

  7. 商人Business People • 商朝的人發明用牛馬拉車，到處做生意，後來就把做生意的人叫商人。 • Shang people invented wagons dragged by cattle or horse and used them to go about to do business, so later business people were called Shang Ren.

  8. 錢Invention of Money • 商朝人使用青銅貝當作錢，這也是世界上最早的「錢」。 • Shang people used bronze shells as money. This is the earlist form of money of the world.

  9. 商朝的滅亡Demise of the Shang Dynasty • 商朝傳到了帝辛，即紂王，政治腐敗，被周武王滅亡。 • During King Zhou of the Shang Dynasty, the country was corrupted. King Wu of Zhou destroyed the Shang Dynasty.
