Many of us might have faced this problem of ‘Insufficient storage’ time and again. Some might even have thought that I am going to sell my phone right away out of anger. Though a phone with such worsened working conditions is better to sell, you could correct it somehow with these useful tips.
DELETE THE UNUSED APPS There are many apps on our smartphone that we never used and wouldn’t do so in future. Thus, it is better to uninstall them for once and all. You can uninstall these apps easily through ‘Google Play’ or from the ‘Settings’ option. You can even long press the icon and choose the Uninstall option that will pop up following the press.
EMPTY THE CACHE FILES Even if you have deleted all your unnecessary apps and still getting the message ‘Insufficient Storage’, its time to clear out the cache. How to do this? Open the settings menu, tap on ‘Cache’ and select OK to prompt deleting of files. You can even go ahead and individually select the app from the Apps menu and choose Clear Cache.
USE A BETTER EXTERNAL STORAGE If you have lower internal storage or your storage is all used up, then you should invest in an SD card that has higher storage capacity. Transfer your data to this new card and you can very assuredly get rid of this error.
