Catholic Heart Work Camp • Our Mission is Twofold..... • First: To share the love of Jesus and serve the neglected, brokenhearted and marginalized in any way needed. The Catholic HEART Workcamp mission is to revitalize communities and beautify homes for the elderly, disabled and those who cannot afford needed repairs. Our goal is to inspire participants to serve in their local communities. • Second: To empower participants to live as disciples of Christ through serving others. To foster the spiritual growth of each participant through the sacraments, Catholic faith sharing and prayer.
Heart Camp ‘07 • During the Summer of 2007 I went to Tampa Florida to help do volunteer work for the less fortunate residents of Tampa. I helped paint a women’s house that was in much need of a new coat of paint. Her neighbor’s said that she was so busy doing things in the community for others that she never made time for herself.
Heart Camp ‘o8 • During the Summer of 2008 I got oo travel to Anderson, Indiana to once again help out in less fortunate homes. This year I got to help clean out a elderly woman’s house who had just lost her husband and was unable to clean up the house by herself.

Relay For Life • Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity. It offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Relays are an overnight event, up to 24 hours in length.
