Dual Credit Definition • A dual credit course is a college course taken by a high school student for which both college credit and high school credit are awarded. • If taught in the high school, the content of the dual credit course must be identical to the content of the course taught on the college campus. • If taught in the high school, the course must be of one semester in length. (The college course must align with a course taught in the high school for which there is a high school course code.)
