How construction is used in maths First of all, when constructing a building, you need to know how deep you dig under ground. So if you need to construct a wall under ground of 5 meters, how deep would you dig your hole. This simple techniques involves maths because you need to calculate the amount of meters cube your hole should be.
Construction • In this topic we think we should talk about what type of maths is involved in construction like: Shapes, angles, sizes, 3D shapes. These buildings use everything in the given list .
In order to build a house you need to know a lot about maths. Every building starts form measurements. . You need to know the length of the room, the height of the room it is the starting point of construction and architecture
As you can see on the images above a lot of measurements are used in designing a house. Also all of this is done with straight lines and perfect drawings.
When constructing a house ,you might need to build something that is triangular. If the manager of the construction sit doesn't tell you which one of the lengths, you will have to use the Pythagoras theorem. You find the square root of both lengths and if the unknown length is the hypotenuse. You will then need to use the Pythagoras theorem
Pythagoras Theorem The Pythagoras theorem: The sum of the areas of the two squares on the lengths (A and B) equals the area of the square on the hypotenuse (C) C B A
Pythagoras Theorem glass The Pythagoras theorem: The sum of the areas of the two squares on the lengths (A and B) equals the area of the square on the hypotenuse (C) wall C B A If the Balcony was 5cm, And the wall was 7cm, what lengths would the glass be? Remember to use the Pythagoras theorem balcony
