Plants have made our life easier. Plants gives us food as well as different materials such as car fuels, bags, oils etc.
Corn and Sunflower • Corns have provided us many good things such as clothing bags, corn oil, corn starch, corn meal, bird food, animal feeds and human foods. Do you know car fuels for cars are also made by corn? • Sunflowers are a great help. Seeds for humans and animal consumption, and cooking oils are also made by sunflowers.
Fresh tomatoes Soy beans
Soybeans and Tomatoes • What do you colour with? Crayons? what do you write with? Pens? Do you know that crayons and inks are made from soybeans? Alternative fuels are also made by soybeans. • Do you like ketchup or Salsa? Pasta sauce or barbecue sauce? These all sauces are made from tomatoes. Tomatoes are used in salads also.
