  3. Story Board and Activities These traveling educational trunks help make natural history come alive for your classroom. Each trunk is filled with interdisciplinary and scientifically-accurate educational materials such as grizzly hides, wolf skulls, age-appropriate lesson plans, posters, videos, audio cassettes, games and puppets.

  5. These are the Environmental Educational Tools • Included in the trunk is a curriculum guide, hides, fur samples, skulls, plaster casts, videos, and cassette tapes.

  7. Help students appreciate songbirds and learn how to help insure that their songs always herald spring in the Rockies. • THREATENED AND ENDANGERED SPECIES

  8. Inside the trunk you will find hides, specimens, books, posters, videos, plaster tracks, and a curriculum guide. • NEW!!!  WILDLIFE TRUNK!

  9. This trunk and curriculum offer a study of some of the amazing wildlife in Western Montana. Students become wildlife biologists to complete a creative research project about mammals of Western Montana. Students link directly to learn about real wildlife being monitored on a continual basis in the mountains.

  10. Along the way, teachers lead students in learning about habitat, body structure, food, range, distinguishing characteristics, tracks, skills of a field biologist, and phenology as it relates to Montana wildlife. Lessons are geared primarily to the 4th/5th grade learning level

  11. This guide aims to be place-based and to keep learning going long after the trunk is returned through access to a wildlife monitoring. • The TEACHER would say!, now lets see the next Activity-2- The Greenstalk’s-A Farm Family.
