  2. What do Skinks Eat ? Skinks eat insects like cockroaches, flies, moths, slaters… and… many many more! Skinks also love to eat fruit… especially bananas and strawberries

  3. Where do Skinks Live ? The New Zealand common skink lives under rocks and logs. They are often found in gardens and by the coast.

  4. Skinks are clever ! • When skinks are in danger from predators, they can drop their tails. • Their tails keep moving to distract the predator while the skink flees to their home or a safe place. • Skinks grow their tails back after it’s popped off
