  1. My game… You pay £1 to play I roll a dice If it lands on 1 or 2 you win £1.50 If it lands on 3, 4, 5, 6 you lose Will this game make me a profit if 10 people play?

  2. No Chance! Your task is to design a game which will make a profit. You can use either dice, counters or a spinner but you will need to think carefully about how to make sure the odds are in your favour. What’s your game called? How much does it cost to play? What are the rules? What are the prizes? What is the probability of winning and losing? How much money do you expect to make if 10 and 100 people play?

  3. Level 4 A simple game has been designed with clear rules (using one spinner or one die) The outcomes are clearly listed The probability of winning / losing is given as a fraction Level 5 A simple game has been designed with clear rules (using two balls or rolling two die) The outcomes are clearly listed The probability of winning / losing is given as a fraction Level 6 As for level 5 but prices have also been considered and the expected profit is calculated if 100 people play The probability is given as a decimal and percentage

  4. Lets Play! You have £10 to spend on the other games and to use as prize money After ten people have played your game you need to shut your stall down
