  3. 1-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL What kind of church is represent by the woman? Revelation 17:3-4 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

  4. 1-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.

  5. 1-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL Note that this woman of Revelation 17 is just the opposite kind of woman to the one presented in Revelation 12. This would show that as surely as the pure woman of Revelation 12 is the LORD’s TRUE CHURCH even so this impure harlot woman is Satan’s counterfeit religious system Rev. 2:9.

  6. 2-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL What is God’s name for this false religious system? Revelation 17:5 And on her forehead a name was written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

  7. 2-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL God’s name for this great counterfeit system is “BABYLON THE GREAT”. The word “Babylon” comes from the word “Babel” (Gen.10:10, Margin), and this word “Babel” means confusion, Gen. 11:9, Margin.

  8. 2-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL The name Babylon which signifies confusion, is certainly a fit name for this present-day system of worldly churches and religions, which on many points are following discordant, unscriptural ideas and worldly ways in place of obeying the plain commands of the Lord, whom they profess to follow.

  9. 3-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL What does the woman represent? Revelation 17:18 “And the woman whom you saw is that great citywhich reigns over the kings of the earth.” This impure woman is declared to be the great city which dominates the governments of earth.

  10. 4-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL How many parts does this city have? Revelation 16:19 Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.

  11. 4-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL This great city is divided into three special parts.

  12. 5-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL What were the three parts to the city? Revelation 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of thedragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

  13. 5-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL These three special parts are designated as THE DRAGON, THE BEAST, and THE FALSE PROPHET. The dragon of this combination is paganism. The beast is Catholicism, Rev. 13:18; and the false prophet is apostate Protestantism, which has proved itself untrue to the Bible which it took as its only guide at the time of its birth.

  14. 6-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL Is there a special message about Babylon? Revelation 14:8,14 And another angel followed, saying “Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”

  15. 6-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL 14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His handa sharp sickle.

  16. 6-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL One part of the special message that God is sending to the world in the last days just before Jesus appears on the cloud is that this system of worldly churches constitutes fallen Babylon.

  17. 6-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL As we see how the churches have become worldly, having lost their spirituality, and how the Modernist section has repudiated the Bible, we see that Babylon -- the popular churches -- is indeed fallen, just as God said it would be in the last days.

  18. 7-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL What is the message for God’s people? Revelation 18:2,4 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hateful bird!

  19. 7-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL 4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lestyoushare in her sins, and lestyoureceive of her plagues.

  20. 7-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL This special message that Babylon is fallen will also call all of God’s people out of this great worldly religious system of paganism, Catholicism, and Protestantism, into God’s REMNANT CHURCH to keep all His commandments.

  21. 7-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL God’s call is, “Come out of Babylon, that ye be not partakers of her sins”. As sin is the transgression of God’s law (1 John 3:4), it is evident that God is calling His people out of all these worldly churches (Babylon) in order that they may keep His commandments.

  22. 8-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL What do those who come out of Babylon do? Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

  23. 8-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL Those who come out of Babylon in response to God’s special message of Revelation 14:8 and 18:2 & 4, are designated as those who keep the commandments of God.

  24. 9-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL Does the Remnant Church keep the commandments of God? Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

  25. 9-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL God’s REMNANT CHURCH is distinguished by the keeping of the commandments and the Spirit of Prophecy, Rev. 19:10.

  26. 10-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL How many flocks are there? John 10:16,27 “And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there shall be one flockand one shepherd.

  27. 10-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL 27 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. God’s people are obedient people - they OBEY His voice. This means that all of God’s people will come out of these fallen churches, out of Babylon, into His ONE TRUE FOLD AND REMNANT FLOCK to keep fully ALL of His commandments.

  28. 11-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL How many groups hear God’s gathering call? Matthew 12:30 “He who is notwith Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

  29. 11-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL There is, and will be, no neutral ground; wither we will stand with Babylon, which will be destroyed at the appearing of Jesus (Rev 18:8,21), or we will stand with the OBEDIENT REMNANT, which will be victorious on the sea of glass, Rev. 14:1; 15:2,3.

  30. 11-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL Choose this day on which side you will stand. The seven last plagues are coming. God’s call for this hour is, “Come out of her (Babylon), My people, that ye receive not of her plagues”, Rev. 18:4. It is just as important for us to come out of Babylon as it was for Lot to flee from Sodom before the fire of God fell on that city.

  31. 11-GC GOD’s GATHERING CALL Just as important for Noah and his family to come out of the world into the ark before the flood came. If you have not responded to this call to come out of Babylon, decide this moment that you will come out and surrender all to Jesus Christ to obey Him. What is your answer? End GC
