5. El deporte lo podemos definir como un juego donde se involucra la actividad física, donde necesariamente las acciones deben ser producidas por el individuo que participa. El deporte debe seguir reglas lo cual implica el uso o aplicación de sanciones. 11. Las reglas son un conjunto de procedimientos adaptados a las características técnicas y competitivas de un deporte. En el judo las reglas tienen un sentido muchos mas amplio, ya que además de establecer regulaciones competitivas, le dan al árbitro una serie de elementos de juicio que le permiten poder evaluar las acciones que se producen en un combate de judo. Lo podremos definir como la capacidad que tiene el árbitro en aplicar las reglas de arbitraje para el beneficio de los competidores y del juego limpio sin favoritismo, ni mala intención considerando siempre las actitudes de los competidores. The common sense in refereeing judo has a special meaning. We will be able to define as the capacity of a referee in applying the competitions rules for the benefit of the competitors and the fair play without favoritism, bad intentions or persecution, always considering the attitudes of the competitors.
