Thesis By comparing the 2011 fall issues of GQ and Men’s Journal, it is apparent that the advertisements in GQ reference lifestyles whereas the advertisements in Men’s Journal focus on the products themselves. This indicates that the average GQ reader might have a higher income than that of Men’s Journal since product quality in GQ is of lesser importance or that the average reader of Men’s Journal is of higher intellect.
