  7. Difficulty with large words and complicated sentences, resulted in mangled sentences • “I will continue to articulate what I believe and what I believe – I believe what I believe is right.” • Confusion over true meaning • Slow, halting speaking style – due to sentence difficulties?

  11. Good eye contact • Pleasant voice, but more variance of tone would be more exciting • Usually fairly confident, not always poised • Gestures – simple and effective • Comfortable utilization of space

  13. conclusion • Will never be considerate one of greatest orators in the presidency • My opinion – a thoroughly average speaker • History may not be too kind, but… “There’s no such thing as legacies. At least, there is a legacy, but I’ll never see it.” – George W. Bush
