MISSION STATEMENT To serve the needs of Dallas-area seniors who require assistance in caring for their companion animals.
SPAN’s Goals • Provide financial assistance or subsidies, when available and with demonstrated need, for basic pet needs such as food, grooming and veterinary care. • Create a network of relationships with Dallas-area animal welfare organizations who assist in providing new homes for pets that can no longer stay with their owners.
AUNT LOUISE’S PET PANTRY In 2009, North Texas residents Dr. Robert & Mrs. Becky Bender honored their aunt, Louise Miller, who died in 2008 by providing the funding to establish Aunt Louise’s Pet Pantry. Louise Miller’s legacy of loving animals will continue by assisting seniors to feed their companion animals. In Memory of Louse Miller ESTABLISHED IN 2009

SPAN Receives Help From Kids! WANT TO HELP SPAN ? CHECK WITH YOUR COMPANY ABOUT DOING AN EMPLOYEE FOOD DRIVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF AUNT LOUISE’S PET PANTRY CLIENTS. Students at Staley Middle School located in Frisco, Texas held a pet food drive benefiting Aunt Louise’s Pet Pantry. Their efforts provided food and treats for many pet companions of SPAN’S clients.
