Floor Plan: drawing of a room or house and how the furniture is arranged. Using a scale floor plan helps you to arrange your furniture and storage place • A certain number of inches = a certain number of feet in the room • Special symbols are used to show doors, windows, and closets (blueprint symbols) • You can draw a scale floor plan of your room on graph paper • This saves you time and energy before moving furniture!
