Gov 2.0 – Measures – Engagement • Levels of Engagement • Improves the quality and extent of citizen input into government • Relevance of Engagement • Locality-specific content • Removes/Reduces barriers to Engagement • Particularly – disadvantaged Australians and core users of government services. • All Australians have an equal say in governance.
Gov 2.0 – Measures – Effectiveness • Strengthens cross-citizen collaboration (societal cohesion) • Informs citizens to allow them to make better decisions at all levels of society • Maintains Citizen trust of government’s handling of personal data • Improves the perception of government’s service efficiency/delivery • Provides more efficient and timely access to government services
