Port efficiency and proactivity • Ports must be efficient: Directive??? • Ports must be deeper involved in SSS and specially in MoS: in many countries Port Authorities have problems to be partners in the Mos • Ports must be intermodal nodes, but not “knots”: goods must flow through the port fluently: e-maritime, e-freight, e-customs… European Shortsea Network - www.shortsea.info
