September 27, 1821: Treaty of Cordoba. Benito Juarez’s “War of Reform” Porfiriato – industry sold to foreigners. The Mexican Revolution: 1910 – 1920.

  8. Conclusion Mexico and the United States have similar government structures. However, because the Mexican executive branch gets most of the power in their government, Mexico has a different distribution of power.
