  2. Academic Institute (AI) Registration • Join NDML NAD • Provide Joining form - Academic Institution Details - NAD Nodal and Admin User Details • MHRD Approved Model Standard Agreement • NSDL to process AI Registration • Unique AI Code • Admin User Credentials • Copy of agreement signed by NSDL

Getting Started • Provide following information to NDML NAD: • Master data of courses conducted, exam schedules etc. • Master data of affiliated institutions • Provide data(sample) with mandatory fields • Opt for Certificate model/ Image Model • Facilitate NAD Training Program / Workshop by NDML

Getting Started Certificate Model • NDML will generate certificate basis data and template • AI to provide templates of the all certificates used • Provide digitally signed data with all variable fields • If photograph / data in regional fonts, part of the certificate, to be provided • NAD to create the certificates basis the information provided

  5. Getting Started Image Model • AI to share the certificate images (digitally signed PDF) with NDML NAD • Provide digitally signed data. Data to contain PDF file name as part of the data • No need for providing photos/ regional fonts, as image of certificate is provided by the AI

  6. Lodging of Certificate data • Basis the sample data shared, NDML NAD will prepare a XML Schema Validation Document (XSD) • When the actual certificate data is uploaded in NAD, the system will validate the data for basic hygiene and validity using this XSD. • NAD will also share a utility to convert the excel data in XML and digitally sign the same • Digitally signed XML data to be uploaded in NAD system by AI • Digitally signed Images to be shared with NDML NAD (Image model)

Digital Signature Certificate • Use existing valid DSC (Class 3) • Apply for new DSC • CA approved by Controller of Certifying Authority (CCA) • Certificate can be taken as an authorised official of AI • Class 3 Certificate • Apply certificates for all users who are authorised to upload • Register Certificate details against the User • Ensure safety and privacy of the Certificate and Token

  13. Student Registration Aadhaar Based • Aadhaar eKYC • Enters Aadhaar • Consent • UIDAI sends OTP • Enters OTP received on Registered Mobile No./ email • Submits

  15. Student Registration NAD ID Based Details filled Includes University student belongs to Photo, Signature uploaded NAD ID Generated

  16. AI Verifies – NAD ID based Registration • AI Enters NAD ID • NAD system fetches student details • AI confirms/ rejects registration details
