The New Sage SalesLogix Mobile The New Sage SalesLogix Mobile delivers rich CRM functionality across multiple mobile platforms via a customizable, browser-based application that is easy to deploy and manage and is available at no extra charge to Sage SalesLogix customers.* *Requires Sage SalesLogix v7.5.3

Mobile SData Client • Browser-based application • a true "client" application, running JavaScript locally. • We take advantage of the HTML5 Application Manifest feature to download the application to the client on first access. • After that, we only retrieve transactional data from the server as needed.  • For the data access, we use Web Service calls to the SalesLogix SData host, and return the data in JSON format

Deployment & Authentication • Available for both Cloud and On-Premise (Web + LAN) users • Requires SalesLogix 7.5.3 with HF1, HF2, HF3 • After applying the bundle point to – http://<server>/SlxMobile • New mobile uses the same authentication mechanism as the web client through SData • New mobile uses the same security model as the web client through SData, so it can be used for both Named and Concurrent users

Installation - Prerequisites • Make sure you have a functioning SalesLogix 7.5.3 web environment • Install HF 01 & Close App Architect • Install HF 02 & Close App Architect • Install HF 03 & Close App Architect • Sage SalesLogix Mobile and the SData portal must be on the same server • Rebuild the Web Platform in App Architect

Installation – SlxMobile web site • Application Architect • In the Project Explorer - Install SalesLogix Mobile bundle • In the Application Architect, open the Deployment Explorer • Open the Core Portals deployment. • Under Deployment Targets, right-click IIS and select Add Portal(s). • Select SLXMobile, and then click OK. • Deploy all of the Core Portals or Individually deploy both the SData and SLXMobile portals. • Run SData Mobile Client by browsing to https://<servername>/SlxMobile
