2. Not enough stores in ghetto Seaford Seaford does not have enough stores to provide jobs for people. People are struggling to find jobs since there are hardly any stores in Seaford.

3. Competition with other states • People are struggling to find jobs in Seaford so many people start working in other states like Salisbury,Maryland. There are just not enough jobs for people in Seaford.

4. Increasing population Unlike other states, Delaware is a tax-free state. And Seaford is a peaceful little city, it attracts many people. So people start moving in because it is tax-free so the city is going to need more services to provide jobs.

If there were more stores in Seaford, there would more jobs for people. Than there wouldn’t be so many people without jobs. Than people would have something to do.

6. Another cause • Seaford’s population is exponentially increasing. The more it is increasing the more jobs Seaford needs to have.

7. Ghetto Seaford • The scope of the problem is local. • Seaford is increasing in population but the jobs in Seaford are decreasing. All of the working age Seaford citizens are affected by this and so are the younger people.

8. 3 possible solutions • Build a legit mall, copy off of Salisbury.  • Build a factory, which will provide many jobs for many people who like factories. • Build a K-mart so Wal-Mart will finally have competition. ;)

9. Best solution • Building a mall is the best solution because it will be able to employ more people. Because it has more stores. Also people will stop going to Salisbury to spend there money.

10. Why it’s the best solution Building a mall would be the best solution because it would provide many jobs for many people. Obviously the mall contains many stores in just one place! And Seaford has a lot of space, enough to build a mall. The mall idea could really benefit the people of Seaford. Plus that make a reason more not to go to Salisbury.

12. YOU GOT MAIL! Dear Mayor Ed Butler, The problem that we are having here in Seaford is that there is a lack of jobs. The cause of the problem is that we don’t have a lot of stores in Seaford. People don’t have jobs if they do some of them have to work in other places (such as Maryland). The way this problem can be solved is we can build a mall in Seaford. If we build the mall that will bring in more jobs for people to work and get money. That can also help Seaford because people will stop going to Maryland for services they have. So that will give Seaford more jobs, more money, and attract people here. Some people are moving away from Seaford because they do not have jobs here in Seaford. So if we build the mall that will give people jobs and they will stay here in Seaford because now they have a job. So that is why we should build a mall to give people jobs.
