  20. WSS - Intrusion Detection Radar Field Data Field trial data illustrates the advanced capabilities of the ECIDR system. The images shown below were from the SeaScan RT radar video display. High Performance Detection of targets with RCS of 0.03-0.47m2 In the test twenty-five moored targets were deployed in a 5x5 grid. The targets were plastic spheres, varying in diameter from 0.72 to 2.8 feet, covered with a reflective mesh and sitting directly on the water. The radar cross section of the targets varied from 0.03 m2 to 0.47 m2, representing real-life targets varying in size from a person-in-water (PIW) to a four-man life raft. In addition, drifting targets were deployed and retrieved after each recording trip. The below figures show data with a higher clutter background. This data was collected with a wave height of 3.1 meters. The wind was variable. The image on the left shows spiky clutter with no processing. The image on the right is with the ECIDR processing applied and clearly shows the test targets. No processing applied, clutter masks targets. Series 1000 ECIDR processing clearly show small targets in clutter.

  21. WSS - HarborGuard ™ • HarborGuard ™ Operator Workstation • Primary User Interface for the WSS • Overlay Radar and Sonar targets with coastal maps • Using C-Map, NOAA or NIMA Digital Charts • Radar and Sonar Target Tracks (symbol, vector and ID tags showing targets position, course and speed) • Chart Overlays for warning zones • Audio and visual warnings for targets entering and/or approaching prohibited areas • Target measurement tool set (distance, bearing, intercept, time-to-go, etc) • Integrated with Camera and Thermal Imager system • Automatic or manual assignment of camera to Radar/Sonar targets • Digitized Radar video overlay available • Video and Event recording • Compatible with Automatic Information System (AIS)
