Enter pay item for tack. If tack is included in the price of the asphalt, enter the pay item for the type of asphalt being placed. Prime calculations can be entered here if prime is being used
Enter the distributor number (FDOT calibration number) that is being used to place the tack. (From previous slide)
Look up beginning depth reading and the corresponding gallon reading
Enter the beginning measurement and the corresponding gallons from the tack chart. REMEMBER: NO CHART~NO START
Look up ending depth reading and the corresponding gallon reading
Enter the ending measurement and the corresponding gallons from the tack chart after tack is shot. This is an automatic calculation. (Beginning gallons minus ending gallons.)
Enter the time you finished shooting the tack and the temperature of the tack from the distributor.
Look up temp. on chart and select corresponding Correction Factor.
Enter the correction factor for the temperature of the tack.
