Depending on the Turtle the average life span is around 80 Turtle go onto the beach to lay their eggs. They generally lay 50-200 eggs. The female will lay her eggs and then return to the sea leaving the eggs. Since all species of Turtles are listed as endangered there is great work being put into to protect these animals.
