THE TENTH DEVELOPMENT PLAN (2014-2018) Basic Education Policy • Quality-based transformation, which improves personality and skills of individuals, strengthens their compliance with labour market within the framework of the life-long learning approach and is based on equality of opportunity. • Compliance between the education system and labour market: With a life-long learning perspective, enabling students to acquire skills and competence necessary for work, adoption of the entrepreneurial culture, strengthening school-business relationship in vocational education by taking mid- and long-term sector projections into consideration. • Ensuring programme integrity in the vocational education and training at the level of secondary and higher education and focusing on applied training in raising skilled labour.
