  1. Location Aztecs in the present day lived in Mexico. They lived in the highlands of Mesoamerica. The city that superseded the Aztec capital and for the surrounding valley, which was applied later to the whole Mexican nation.

DAILY LIFE: • Today, many indigenous groups of lateen America can trace their roots back to Aztecs. • The husband was primarily responsible for supporting the family . • The wife’s role was to provide the family with clothing and food. • the Aztec daily life for many of the men was to farm or do craftwork. The female Aztec life, on the other hand, mainly consisted of weaving and cooking.

  3. CAULTURE: • The Aztecs ,during their free time, would do art . • .Believe it or not some Aztecs get tattoos of what they believe in. • There were also slaves, which were generally well-treated. • boys received a wider education than girls. Girls were taught how to run a home, cook, and care for a family, but they were also taught things like crafts .

  4. GOVERMENT • The rulers of the Aztecs were named tlatoani or the great speaker. • Back then the Aztecs still had to pay taxes. • The second person in charged is a person named woman snake but the person is a man. • The Aztec ruler would sacrifice a BEAUTIFUL woman or a HANSOME man, They did that because they thought that the gods were mad so they thought they would give them a life

  5. HOUSING • They have different carvings and patterns. • They were most often built with adobe, which was a type of sun-dried brick. • The Aztecs used a bunch of tools to make their houses such as hammers and stuff like that .

  6. FACTS • The Aztecs had two different games - tlachtli and patolli. • The Aztecs are rich. • Aztecs mean “someone who comes from Atlan” in northern Mexico. • Aztecs built three great causeways which joined the island to the mainland
