Dairy Technician Programme • This programme is structured around skill modules designed to encourage best practice in managing a small dairy herd for milk production in order to lift production and profitability. 1week – 12 weeks in length Groups of 12 preferred Accommodation on campus
What’s in milk? Milk solids water protein fat Minerals, vitamins and carbohydrates • In NZ farmers are paid by the amount of milk solids they produce • In Indonesia farmers are paid by the litre of milk • The goodness of milk is in the milk solids
