9. My Writings • Hot Hot Las Vegas • By: David Qu • I went to Las Vegas in 2007. When I got there, it was as black as midnight! I saw a golden light, and it was our hotel. It was called The Golden Inn. The hotel was called that name because there was a lot of gold and bronze in the hotel. The next day, it was very hot! We went out and saw a rocket ship that went to the moon! My family and I wanted to try it out. Later, we were back from the moon, and it was so fun! My family and I went to a museum. (Later that day) and saw a Boeing 747 SP. It was so big WOW! That night, we went back to The Golden Inn, and we ate hamburgers for dinner. Later on, we went to our room on level 27 room 747. I was very sleepy so I went to bed and slept until morning. • The next day, we saw the desert and a rattlesnake, a lizard, and a wolf. After that, I went to an indoor rainforest, and I saw a frog, a parrot, a snake, and a few fish. It was time to go, so we went back to The Golden Inn, we packed up and got ready to leave. The next morning, we had to get up at 7:00 AM, since I couldn’t wake up that early. • Mommy said, “Hurry up or we are going to be late!” • I said,” five more minutes’ please.” But mommy was very firm. Finally, at 7:30 AM, we got to the airport to catch a 7:50 AM plane to Georgia. Since it was so long, we brought a lot of snacks. In the plane, I can’t fall asleep. When I got to the airport gate, it was raining cats and dogs. Then, we got on a subway to Baggage Claim, got our luggage, walked to our car, and drove home.
