About the organization • GreenWin: • Wascreated in 2011 • Is the Wallonia Green Tech Cluster (« triple helix cluster ») • Covers 3 industrial sectors (chemistry, building and environment) • affiliates140 members (amongwhom 100 sme’s) • is fully dedicated to developing green technologies and eco-innovation • has won so far 18 R&D and/or training projects for a budget of 60 M€ • Favours the pooling of skills and sharing of means between its members • GreenWinbrings to itsmembers: • A platform for networking and information • A support to set up R&D, training or investment projects • A labelling of projects for their financing by regionals funds • A help in their search for other sources of funds • A visibility and support for international partnerships
Expertise linked with LCiP • Aim : support the competitivness of Walloon companies thanks to LCA approach • R&D projects : a workpackage dedicated to LCA is mandatory • LCA training sessions for the R&D projects coordinators • Creation and implementaiton of a directory of LCA trainers in Wallonia and in neighboring regions • Organisation of conferences about LCA

About the organization • Founded in 1987, Prospektiker is an independent company, which specializes on foresight and prospective - strategic studies for the public and private sector. The company's main purpose is that of exploring the possible futures, which may emerge from the present situation. • Prospektiker’smain goals are to detect the innovations, discover strong tendencies, evaluate possible impacts and take a role of sentry over the key factors for the future. Expertise linked with LCiP • Although Prospektikeris not specialized in LCA, we count with years of experience regarding environment policy and government: • Developing and undertaking surveys, personal interviews and benchmarkings. • Socio-economic impact monitoring. • Expertise acquired through Leonardo projects including the development of high quality training materials on ecodesignfor the ceramics sector • Supplying the designers, trainers and other professionals with the skills to apply sustainability strategies and practices in companies • Disseminating this know-how in the vocational education and training system. • Interacting with local and regional actors in the field of sustainability. • Developing strategic plans for public authorities including evaluation activities. • Identifying training needs for different sectors (have been doing this for years through surveys and interviews with companies, including energy sector). • Developing communication and dissemination strategies for city councils. • Organising workshops, events and conferences for different European networks, hosting meetings and preparing papers and working groups.

About the organization • LNEG - Portuguese National Laboratory for Energy and Geology is an organization of the Portuguese Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Energy. • LNEG activities, primarily targeting the needs of the economy, are: • Financed R&D Projects, namely under the Community Support Framework and the Framework Programmes for RTD • Provision of services and contracts with companies and with the government • Direct support to the State in the areas of international representation, providing the Government Science and Technology rationale to support sectorial policies.
