Energy Crisis BY: Ransom Mcphee and Corey Tarter. Problem.
E N D
Problem • The current energy crisis is over the high prices in the supply of energy resources to an economy. All resources will eventually run out like fossil fuels and oil. It is said that we only have enough oil for 100 more years. Since all gas and or resources are diminishing we need to figure out new ways to save energy. Now people have more machines which take up more oil and gas which increases the rate of using the resources. The enviorment is affected by the burning of the chemicals in factories which makes the air polluted. At this rate the rescoures of oil will disapear sooner than exspected.
Affected Organisms • May 5 2010 BP had an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. • The spill covered most of the Gulf, it released 11 million gallons. • There were thousands of animals harmed. • The oil affected their habitat in the ocean and it caused fisherman to loose their jobs cause they could not catch their fish cause thay were dead or in another area.
Affected Humans • The humans are affected because there is many shortages in energy supplies which will die out sooner or later. • Many jobs have bin lost over the past 4 years and more and more will come cause of the economic crisis due to the energy crisis. • There are a quarter of a million people born every day which is a big impact on our loss of energy.
Solution • For a solution you can utilize: • Sun energy - solar panels, paint, rubber. The photvoltaic cells make use of renewable energy in solar panels. • Wind – windmills, wind turbines. The wind turns the windmill into rotational motion that the power of the mill turns into energy.
Solution • Tidal or hydro-electric power- Tidal turbines, Tidal generators. Is a form of hydro power that coverts energy from tides into electricity or other use or forms. • Geothermic and bio energy. Is renewable energy made from available from materials derived from biological sources.
