  2. WHAT IS ULTEM INJECTION MOLDING? ULTEM is a semi-transparent thermoplastic material from Polyetherimide (PEI) family. ULTEM material is manufactured by SABIC and is one of the most used plastic materials. ULTEM resins offer excellent temperature and flame resistance and produce less smoke, therefore, they are used in injection molding of products for use in medical and chemical industries.
