DEFINING TEENAGERS • Young teenagers: 12-14 years old • Middle teenagers: 14-17 years old • Late teenagers: 17-19 years old (Considered young adults) So what if I'm not as you expected! I'm different, I'm not like you. Is this a reason for me to be neglected? I do my own thing; to me this world is new. My thoughts and opinions are not to your liking, But I love how I am.

EXAMPLE: EXPRESSIVE ACTIVITY • THE DIRECTOR’S CUT • Use a simple dialogue and have the characters do it in different ways: nervously, fearfully, happily, laughing, angrily, and naturally, of course! • The teacher can act like the director of a movie and say, “Cut! Cut! No, that’s not right. I want to see more emotion. Do it with anger this time!”
