STAGE – I: Customer places booking with the Sales or in certain cases directly with the Customer Service (PHONE or MAIL). Customer Service checks the vessel schedule and accordingly gives container release to the Customer. STAGE – II: Customer gives the release to its Trucker who goes to the Port to pick the container. STAGE – III: Customer will file the EXPORT DECLERATION (ED) with the customs & send a mail to customer service with the container number & ED copy to plan the container. Customer service finalize the Load List & the same is submitted to the OPERATION DEPT. STAGE – IV: Once the vessel sails out Operations receive load confirmation from the Port & on the basis of that they update the LRP. Once system is updated Customer Service prepare the B/L as per SI received. Draft B/L is sent to customer for his final confirmation & on the basis of his confirmation, B/L is confirmed in the system. STAGE – V: A/C’s Dept. sends the invoice to the customer. Imports departments files the manifest after confirmation from the ops of discharge planning. Sending Arrival Notices to the consignee’s two or three days prior to the vessel arrival. Customer comes to the D/O counter either with the duly endorsed original B/L or with the request letter (for surrendered/Seaway B/Ls) to collect the Delivery Order. D/O counter issues the D/O against duly endorsed OB/L or against proper request letters for surrender/Seaway B/Ls (with the stamped B/L copy for customs purposes). After un loading cargo, consignee returns the container in good condition within the D/O validity. Port identifies if there is any damage and same will be on consignees account if the damage has not mentioned in the Equipment Identity Register (EIR) out report.
