Works Cited Page. Lists the sources used (parenthetically documented) in your research paper. Sources are listed in alphabetical order. If a source (bib card) is not used (parenthetically documented) in research paper, the source should NOT be listed on the Works Cited page.

  1. Works Cited Page Lists the sources used (parenthetically documented) in your research paper. Sources are listed in alphabetical order. If a source (bib card) is not used (parenthetically documented) in research paper, the source should NOT be listed on the Works Cited page.

  2. Works Cited Format Guidelines • The phrase "Works Cited" is centered at the top of the page. • The phrase Works Cited is not in quotation marks.

  3. Works Cited Format Guidelines Double Space after the "Works Cited" line after each entry and for each line of each entry

  4. Works Cited Format Guidelines Alphabetical Order Put all entries in alphabetical order.

  5. Works Cited Format Guidelines Indent Every line after the 1st line of each entry is indented.

  6. Works Cited Format Guidelines Punctuation • Period after each category of information. • Period at the very end. • Colon between where published and the publisher. • Italicize titles (what is underlined on bib card). • Quotation marks around article titles.

  7. Works Cited Format Guidelines Each work cited entry looks exactly like the information on the bibliography card.
