  8. 1st Generation • First generation of MyCybrary simply provided access to • individual ILS-based account services • personal information management tools • No easy way to deliver other custom services to individuals

  9. MyLibrary Systems • Traditional portal-based MyLibrary systems force user to login to a new environment • Use to date around 5-7% • Content delivery general

  10. MyCourses System • University of Rochester CoURse Resources System more success • Resource delivery based on courses with eReserve material • Required removal of eReserves from ILS for desired functionality

  11. Campus Politics • myCybrary Beta took 2 yrs and 3 weeks to develop • 2 years to get SIS access • 3 weeks to build • Just-Do-It requires Teamwork
