UK 1- Procurement:: • Data Cube support, data gathering and analysis from 3S/ Astrium side • Pursue actions from telecon’ 2- Engineering: • CTO support into initiatives to achieve synergies • Work with Volker Jarsch(Volker in UK to work with Capgemini team): • Facilitate aligned business case development with Capgemini (Neil Ferber, Paul Tarby) • Support delivery of telecon’ actions (Modem req’ and Steering group) Germany 1- Procurement:: • Data Cube results - support Walter/ Maika to use results of data cube analysis to achieve savings 2- Engineering: Support UK based CTO deliver in Germany Germany Independence: • Ensure activities, forums, roles and responsibilities are sustainable without external support in both UK and Germany
Workstream Procurement synergies: Overview way forward Way forward How Capgemini will support Next steps • Finalize data cube and support development of common material group master to: • establish transparency among 3S and NDS and • provide basis for roll out to ASV level and thereby increase buying power • To be discussed: • support “win team” with design-to-cost implementation • align with Sales to establish forecasting process • Track progress and maintain momentum on initiatives with update calls and progress tracking/ reporting • Continue and finalize data cube; both business lines to provide required data input to Capgemini • All initiatives need to be accelerated by appointed “prime” Head of Function • Clear governance to be defined immediately after the FLM announcement • NDS to push the development of a common Material Group Master
Workstream Engineering synergies: Overview way forward Way forward How Capgemini will support Next steps • To be discussed with CTO objective facilitation process to: • ensure progress/ maintain momentum on initiatives • avoid vested interests i.e. update calls and progress tracking/ reporting • Potential ad-hoc support with i.e. calculation of business cases • Hold kick-off meeting to define activities to increase external funding (1st Feb) • All initiatives need to be governed by CTO and supported by appointed “prime” Head(s) of Function(s)
