American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is an Act of Congress enacted by the 11th United States Congress and signed into law by President Obama on February 17, 2009. The Act is intended to provide a stimulus to the U.S. economy in the wake of the economic downturn.
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) The Act includes federal tax cuts, expansion of unemployment benefits and other social welfare provisions, and domestic spending in education, health care, and infrastructure, including the energy sector.

Reporting Requirements • Each agency receiving Stimulus dollars must adhere to the required reporting requirements deadlines and progress reports • Periodic Audit Reports by the Internal Auditor
