Will they be added in the current school year, before the 2006-07 school year? • THE PROMISES ,to begin APRIL 1 2006. • HOPEFUL TO GET SOME CONSTRUCTION BY MARCH 2007; THE WORK WILL HAVE TO BE DONE BY GOVT. CHANNELS;PWD ETC, DUE ALLOCATION FOR THE BUDGET IS DONE BY THE APPROVING AUTHORITY. THE PROCESS WILL HAVE TO BE INITIATED BY US IN APRIL 2006.

Is another medical checkup planned in next few months for the students • LAST WEEK (5th Jan,06)THERE WAS A VISIT OF A DOCTOR AND A LECTURE FOR CLEANLINESS AND DISEASE. • THE EYE CAMP AND ANOTHER CHECKUP WILL BE IN MARCH. • THE STUDENTS MAY BE GIVEN facilities FROM THE MEDICAL BUDGET, IN ADDITION TO DOCTORS FEES;WHERE APPLICABLE

  28. What is the attendance & dropout rate? Has it improved with the addition of new teachers? • THE CHILDREN ARE MORE REGULAR. THE CLASSES ARE BEING HELD EVEN DURING GOVT. HOLIDAYS BY THE THREE TEACHERS AND ASSOCIATED STAFF. Attendance improved ,time and day wise • FEW STUDENTS MAY JOIN FROM NEARBY SCHOOLS AFTER THE WINTER VACATIONS!

  29. How is the library being used? Has reading hour been introduced for the children? • READING LESSIONS DURING THE SCHOOL HOURS; DUE TO SHORTER DAYS AND TRAVEL HOME ON FOOT REQUIREMENTS.

  30. . What is reaction of parents? Are they happy with the performance • LAST WEEK THERE WAS A PARENT MEETING ARRANGED BY OUR REPRESENTATIVE. 33 PARENTS ATTENDED THE MEETING. 32 OF THEM WERE VERY HAPPY AND APPRECIATIVE OF THE TEACHING EFFORTS AND CONVENIENCES.
