  2. Apartheid Israeli Wall

  3. The Wall has been building since June 2002 in the entire West Bank: from the northwest to the southwest as well as from the northeast to the southeast of WB (west of the Jordan Valley). The Western Wall is composed of 3 phases; The 1st phase has been accomplished on July 2003 with a length of 145 Km effecting Jenin, Tulkarem and Qalqiliya districts. The work with Phase 2 has been commenced on June 2003; Salfit, Ramallah, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem will be effected.

  4. With the completion of this wall, 22 % of West Bank land will be confiscated and 52% of Palestinian communities will be isolated into cantons, enclaves and military zones Palestinian population in the West Bank and Gaza Strip (3 millions) and 5 millions in Diaspora will be living on only 12 % of historic Palestine www.Stopthewall.org

  5. The Structure of the Wall Guardian newpaper – November, 2002

  6. The Structure of Wall • The western Wall is expected to be 360 kms long, and a total of 650 kms if it is completely surrounds West Bank. • The Wall will be composed of various sections, of which the Wall will be either concrete and/or barbed wires. • The concrete Wall will average 8 meters (25 feet) high, with tens of armed concrete watchtowers, and a buffer zone of 30-100 meters wide to make way for electric fences, trenches, cameras, sensors, and security patrols.

  7. Apartheid Wall Is more than 30 times in length and double in height if it is compared to Berlin Wall Palestinian Right to Return Center

  8. Some 16,478 ha (2.5 % of the West Bank) have been confiscated in the northern or “first phase” of the Wall, under the Israeli self-declared “security zone”. At some points the Wall was built 6 kms inside West Bank land. The snaky route of the Wall is to confiscate more land and to annex additional settlements, in the first phase, 10 settlements have been annexed and most fertile land of 50 villages in the northern West Bank have been confiscated. 1,150 ha of land have been razed for the footprint area of the Wall, including the uprooting of 83000 trees. www.Pengon.org

  9. Already snakes for mile after mile in the West Bank land, the barrier which Israel hopes will keep Palestinian militants out

  10. According to current plans, it will stretch up to 400 miles (650 km) when it will be completed

  11. Begun more than a year ago, they proclaim, it will separate Israeli and Jewish areas from Palestinian areas
