  2. Introspective, naturalist and, creative expressionist Ronald Raevsky is an amazing landscape painter. He has made around 500 paintings till date and his most famous work is the painting, known as “The Awakening”, which fetched $15,000 at an auction in NY. He is known for his unique and prodigious painting skills and his art work is characterized by beauty, uniqueness, and an inherent meaning.

  3. Ronald Raevsky was born in Maysel, West Virginia and grew on his family's small estate. He lived with his father, mother, two elder sisters, and grand parents. He lived in a very nurturing and fulfilling environment, which helped him to develop his skills. When his family discovered that Ronald is a gifted painter, they gave him a lot of support and motivation, and he relied on them for critique and encouragement.

  4. Sequentially, an art contest was being held for children in Charleston, where his mom entered his painting and Ronald was declared the winner. Ronald always enjoyed exploring various places so that he can translate the beauty of nature on to his canvas in the most seamless manner. Though he has tried various other subjects and styles, he predominantly remains a landscape painter. His absolutely breathtaking paintings reflect serenity and an amazing perfection.

  5. After completing his graduation from the New York University School of Art, Ronnie Raevsky also held a position at a graphic design firm for a few years. Whenever he had some free time, he would visit his hometown of Maysel. It was during one of these visits, he met a gentleman who offered to create a website that would sell his paintings. They agreed to split the profits equally. This turned out to be a successful deal as Ronald gained immense popularity for his wonderful landscape art. This also gave him a chance to live in his hometown.

  6. Ronald currently lives in Maysel with his wife Angela and their two children. While his wife has set up a Pumpkin farm, Ronald manages the family estate and runs a horse riding staple, where he gives horse riding lessons to children. Ronald continues to paint and spend time with nature while creating masterpieces.
